Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has said that it would take something special for his team to make it into the top 4
The Red Devils are 7th on the table and prepare for a game against rivals Arsenal following a limp draw against Southampton
Arsenal meanwhile will be buoyed after walloping local rivals Tottenham 4-2 in the North London Derby,
Speaking ahead of Wednesday’s showdown, the Portuguese manager said: “Last year I said it was fantastic to finish second considering the quality we had compared to other teams who were fighting for a top-four finish,”
“This year, as we’re facing even more problems, it proves what I said when the season started: that it would be very tough for us. Now we must try and win as many points as we can. It will take almost a miracle to finish in the top four.”

Mourinho has rotated his defence heavily with the likes of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly all featuring and no recognised pair in defence
Youngster McTominay was even used in defence on Saturday against Southampton as was Matic.
Mourinho explained the decision saying: “In the absence of more centre-backs that could play, we had to deploy midfielders to defend, but they don’t know how to do it – that’s not their traits.
“By having them playing zonally we tried to hide our weaknesses.”
