The management of one of the biggest and most valuable football club in the world, Manchester United, has issued a new directive to the club’s players as regards handing out of their jerseys after matches.
According to The Sun, the football club has directed its players not to hand over or exchange football jerseys after games.
The management’s decision is aimed at saving money for the club.
Recall that the football club had splashed a whooping sum on players during the last transfer window which saw the like s of Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba joining the English Premiership club side.
According to a source within the football club, the club’s management noted that handing out of jerseys is “not cost effective.”
The source continued: “They are asked not to swap shirts so they don’t have to be replaced. It seems daft given how much the club is worth.”
