Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal has said that defeat against City rivals, Manchester City, will not lead to his sack, although he admits it could spell the end of their UCL qualification dreams.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s derby, the 64-year-old took an aversion to a question about his future at Old Trafford being dependent on the result in the game.
He said: “Every day when we are losing you ask that. But why?
“I have a three-year contract and the process is three years.
“I don’t discuss that with you. Why do I have to discuss that with you?”
However, he admitted that losing to City could well be the end of the UCL dream.
He also dismissed claims that he was under pressure due to the UEFA Europa League ouster against another bitter rival Liverpool.
According to him, he doesn’t feel pressure because he does what needs to be done.
