Lagos state Police Command, Ejigbo has put a certain Elikor Ehud in custody after he allegedly stole the tithes and offerings of a church in the vicinity.
Bala Elkana, the Spokesman for the Lagos state Police Command has released a Police Statement to this effect.
According to the statement, Pastor of Divine Chosen Vine Ministry located at Furniture Avenue, Ejibo, Moses Nwoke made a report at the Ejigbo Police station, saying unidentified persons broke into the church safe, carting away the Tithes, Offerings and Special Seeds that belonged to the church. The report by Pastor Nwoke was made on the 30th of August.
The Police got in their element, conducted a thorough investigation which led them to Ehud. He was arrested on the 15th of October.

Ehud confessed to the crime after being severely interrogated saying, he stole the sum of six hundred and Seventy thousand Naira (N670,000) cash from the church wooden safe. In his confession statement, he admitted he was not working alone and he mentioned the name of his accomplice in crime to be Lucky.

The Police have already begun to make efforts in finding Lucky, Ehud’s accomplice Ehud will also be charged to court where he would answer to his crime.
