A mild drama occured at the Ejigbo Police Division in Lagos after a pregnant woman ran into the Police station seeking protection against her husband.
It was gathered that the husband to the pregnant woman beat her whenever she refused him sex.
The Police in turn arrested the man, compelling him to sign an undertaking that he would not beat the woman again before releasing him on bail.
The woman identified as Ego Ahahuwa had reported to the police officers in tears that her husband, Obioma, would usually beat her because she refused to have sex with him due to her pregnancy.
She added that she feared he might kill her and the unborn child someday and that was why she ran to the help of the security operatives.
She added that the hostility came to being after the latest pregnancy of their third child which she admitted was against the wishes of her Husband.
She continued that contrary to what her husband believed, the pregnancy was not her deliberate act.
