A man, Idris Abdullahi, has raised the alarm over alleged illegal detention of his friend, Christopher Aboh, by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
In a tweet he has shared consistently on his Twitter handle for a few days and which he shared again on Monday, January 1, Abdullahi said that Aboh was detained by the SARS operatives in Kaduna.
He further disclosed that Aboh was detained by the anti-robbery squad before Christmas Day. December 25:
He claimed that his friend was detained “for doing nothing,” a claim which The Herald Nigeria could not independently confirm.
In the tweets, he tagged Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai; Kaduna Central senator, Sen. Shehu Sani, who is known to be a prominent Twitter user; prominent Channels Television journaist, Seun Okin; and a host of others.
