An unidentified man has married his pet snake after loosing his wife because he thinks it bears a striking resemblance with her.
The man, who is believed to have taken on the Buddhist theory that people reincarnate into animals, takes the cobra everywhere and also sleeps with it at night.
The 10-foot-long snake is usually seen with the man playing board games, watching TV, sharing a romantic picnic by the lake, and going to the gym just as any regular couple.
The young man lost his wife five years ago and is living with the Cobra as a substitute to fill in for the sad moments.
Warranan Sarasalin from Kanchanaburi in Thailand, who shared the photos of the ‘couple’, said the man looks after it very well and that “true love is true love.”
“He never stays away from the snake. He takes it everywhere he goes or even while he is sleeping.”
The besotted man, who has bluntly ignored all warnings in regards to living with a 10-foot-long cobra, is well known in his neighborhood for his relationship with his pet.
