The Lagos State Police Command has reportedly declared a man wanted for making away with his boss’ money after offering to carry the bag containing it.
According to reports, Etim Wisdom, a native of Cross Rivers State, had accompanied his boss to a commercial bank in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos, where the said un-named boss made a withdrawal of an undisclosed but huge sum of money.
It was gathered that Wisdom offered to carry the bag containing the money and his boss obliged him because it wasn’t the first time he would be doing so.
However, Wisdom was able to make it out of the security door at the entrance of the bank before his boss, who did not suspect a thing.
The boss would have entered the security door after him, had another bank customer not immediately stepped into the open door to enter the bank.
By the time the boss would come out of the bank, Wisdom was nowhere to be found.
Also, calls made to his cell phone failed to connect as it had been switched off.
When the suspect’s residence was visited, it was learnt that he moved out a day before the incident.
Wisdom, whose age could not be determined as at the time of filing this report, is said to be able to speak both Yoruba and English languages fluently.
