Adeoluwa, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of breach of peace and conspiracy.

The Prosecutor, Cpl. Titi Olatoye, told the court that the defendant and others still at large, committed the offences on May 31, at about 12.40 p.m. in Owotolu area, Aiyetoro, Itele, Ota.

Olatoye said the defendant conducted himself in a manner likely to cause breach of peace by preventing one Mr Lukman Olushi from entering his farmland located at Owotolu area, Ayetoro, Itele, Ota.

She alleged that the defendant chased away the complainant from his farmland with dangerous weapons.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 249(d) and 516 of the Criminal Code Revised Laws of Ogun, 2006.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Magistrate, Mrs Sam Obaleye, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N10,000 with one surety in like sum.

Obaleye said that the surety must resides within the court’s jurisdiction and his/her address should be verified by the court.

She added that the surety should provide means of identification as part of the bail conditions.

The case was adjourned until Aug. 31 for trial.
