Tairu is facing a three-count charge of breaking and entry, stealing and felony.

The Prosecutor, Insp. Ayodele Adeoshun, told the court that the accused conspired with others now at large to commit the offence between July 25 and July 28 at Aketegbo Village, Seme Border, Badagry area of Lagos.

Adeoshun said that Tairu broke and entered a house of the complainant, Eugene Ijiwa, with intent to commit felony.

“After entering the house, the accused stole two generating sets valued at N109, 000; One Samsung Plasma television valued at N45, 000; and one radio cassette player valued at N28, 000.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 409, 305, and 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges.
