President Muhammadu Buhari’s nephew, Mamman Daura is in good health, a new video has shown.
This is against the backdrop of reports claiming that he was hurriedly flown to London for medical attention.
Kabir, a son of Daura, released the video on Saturday.
He captioned it, “Flown to the UK for which treatment? Here is the Mamman Daura you talk about, yesterday, fit and spritely. Your evil wishes for Baba MD will come to naught. They will never see the light of day.”
Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad also shared the video on Twitter.
He captioned it, “No iota of truth in the earlier story that Mallam Mamman Daura was flown to London for an emergency medical attention. He is hale and hearty, Nigerians should disregard that story.”
In the 35-second video, the retired journalist can be seen walking leisurely in a living room while speaking on phone in Hausa language.

In an earlier statement, Daura’s eldest son Mohammed had debunked the reports of his father’s ill-health.
He said the reports were fabricated.
“Alhamdulillah Baba is perfectly fine. He neither has a history of renal problems nor does he have any breathing difficulties like was suggested in the concocted news story,” he added.
