Maina fit to stand trial, Vital Organs Are Normal- NCS Doctors

Doctors of the National Correctional Service (NCS) have declared Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of the Pension Reforms Task Force (PRTF) fit to stand trial for his crimes.

This is coming after the former Pension boss was wheeled into trial and his legal  counsel claimed his client had a bleeding nose.

The presiding Judge in his case, Okon Abang, suspecting a foul play, ordered the NCS Deputy Comptroller in charge of medicals to run medical tests on the accused, in order to ascertain his true health status.

On the two occasions, Maina showed up to trial to defend allegations levelled against him, he complained of ill-health.

November 7, Maina showed up to court in a wheelchair
November 21, his legal counsel Francis Orasanye told the court his client had a bleeding nose.

It however was surprising when medical reports from NCS stated that the 45-year-old former Pension boss only had slight malaria and High blood pressure which is well under control.
