Inedoye, the newlywed wife of Made, the grandson of the legendary Afrobeats pioneer Fela Kuti, has shared the heartwarming story of how she and her now-husband crossed paths.
Made, the son of Grammy-nominated artist Femi Kuti, recently celebrated his wedding to Inedoye, marking a special moment in their lives on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
During an exclusive interview with BellaNaija, Inedoye disclosed the charming tale of their initial encounter, revealing that Made played a significant role in her high school life.
She explained, “My husband, Made, and I met in high school. Funny story. He was my school father. He was a very good school father.”
Their paths diverged after high school, but fate had more in store for them. Inedoye continued, “We didn’t talk again after high school until much later, while I was in university.”
The remarkable part of their journey comes from the modern age of social media. Inedoye described how they transitioned from their high school roles to a romantic relationship. “After he graduated, we became Facebook friends first. Then, from Facebook friends, he came back to Nigeria in 2018. That’s when we began dating, and here we are”
