A woman who is mentally unstable delivered a baby by the roadside along Ikoyi road. The mad woman refused to allow anyone come close to the baby after delivery. The baby who was exposed to cold for a long time, later died.
According to Ibidunni Ighodalo whi narrated the true-life story on her Instagram page, said she got a call from an unidentified woman asking for her help, as a mad woman just delivered a baby, refusing help from bystanders.The baby who was still alive was left exposed on the floor, wailing really loudly.
On her way to the delivery scene, Ibidunni branched at the Police station to report the case. The Ikoyi DPO assigned two Policemen and a woman to accompany her.
Mrs. Ighodalo encountered heavy traffic before she could reach the woman and baby. Why the time she got there, the baby had died. Still, the mad woman refused to leave her baby. It took about two hours of persuasion before the mentally unstable woman allowed herself be taken to a health centre to receive proper medical care.

Internet users have condemned the unidentified man who impregnated the woman despite her unstable mental condition.
