Without recourse to the rule of law and due process, the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, impulsively demolished two hotels in the state over an alleged violation of COVID-19 lockdown order.
In response to the action considered as dictatorial by a larger number of the public, the leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSON, Ralph Nwazuruike, has questioned Wike’s sanity and intelligence.
Nwazuruike described Wike as stupid and a vandal for demolishing the properties instead of sealing them off public access or use.
He said:
“How can you destroy somebody’s hotel simply because you are a governor? What nonsense governor is that one? Who are you? What nonsense?
“If somebody contravenes the law, why can’t you seal up the place? You destroy somebody’s sweat just because you are a governor. What nonsense governor are you?
“Wike you are very useless. You are stupid. It is only in Rivers state that you can do that nonsense. Come to Imo state and try it.
“Are you the only governor in Nigeria? What madness is in you.
“What nonsense do you think you are doing? Are you the only governor in Nigeria? COVID19! COVID19! Do you know the meaning of COVID19?”
