After a disastrous three months in Monaco, Thierry Henry was fired by the Principality club and the man he replaced, Leonardo Jardim has been brought back.
Belgian team mater, Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard have stated that they would be more than willing to have the 1998 World Cup winner as their assistant manager again.
Before his appointment as Monaco’s coach, Henry was the right-hand man to Roberto Martinez in Belgium. The two of them led the European club to a third-place finish at last year’s world cup.
“He did good [work with us] at Belgium,” Hazard said

“Monaco was not doing well this year, he was in trouble. He tried to get things right.
“He did not succeed [but] he has my full support. I do not worry, I know he’ll be a great coach in the future.
“We [would] welcome him. If he wants to come back, we’re here.”
Manchester United forward, Romelu Lukaku also chimed in stating that they would love Henry back.
“It’s a pity he lost his job in Monaco, but now I hope he’ll be back in the national team,”
“He’ll come back, because we need him.”
It remains to be seen whether the Arsenal legend will indeed go back to Belgium, but at least now he knows that there’s a job offer out there.
