10) Javier Hernandez to Tottenham – £14m
The Mexican striker is struggling for any kind of game time whatsoever at United, and Spurs are looking to add another goal-getter following Roberto Soldado’s faltering start to the Premier league campaign.
9) Lacina Traore to Liverpool – £15m
The giant Ivorian striker stands at 6ft. 8″ and is available after Anzhi Makhachkala put their entire squad for sale during the summer. With no current backup options for Suarez and Sturridge, Traore could become a valuable option from the bench or if one of the star duo pick up an injury.
8) Ezequiel Garay to Barcelona – £18m
The Argentine stopper almost joined Manchester United over the summer, but is now reportedly close to a move to Barcelona instead, after David Moyes pulled the plug on an £18m deal.
7) Robert Lewandowski to Manchester United or Chelsea – £18m
Arguably the biggest bargain on this list, Lewandowski has confirmed that he does not yet have an agreement with Bayern Munich, and a move to the Premier League could be on the cards. As his contract expires next summer, he could be available for a cut-price £18m.
5) Paul Pogba to Chelsea – £25m
The 20-year-old French midfield dynamo has emerged as Jose Mourinho’s top January target, and Juventus have admitted it will be hard to keep the wonderkid if a Premier League side comes in with a large offer.
4) Karim Benzema to Chelsea or Arsenal – £25m
The French forward is enduring his worst spell at Real Madrid, and is reportedly unhappy with life in Spain. The La Liga giants could cash in on the striker to pave the way for a monster move for Liverpool forward Luis Suarez, enabling Arsenal or Chelsea to swoop for Benzema.
3) Ander Herrerra to Manchester United – £30m
United were extremely close to signing the Spanish midfielder from Athletic Bilbao in the summer, and have promised him they will try to sign him once again come January. Will inject box-to-box dynamism and passing ability to United’s midfield.
2) Julian Draxler to Arsenal – £34m
Arsenal are keen on bringing another mega-money german to the Emirates following Mesut Ozil’s arrival in the summer, and have earmarked Schalke’s 20-year-old wonderkid Julian Draxler as their primary target. Draxler has all the potential to be one of the world’s best players, but he would likely command an astronomical fee.
1) Luis Suarez to Real Madrid – £55m
Whether it’s in January or next summer, at some point, Liverpool will have to sell Luis Suarez. The world-class forward is desperate to play at the highest level, and the Reds are not even playing Europa League football this season. With Benzema seemingly on his way out of Real Madrid, Suarez looks like the obvious replacement.
