The party boss made the known in a letter through his lawyer, Mr Emeka Etiaba (SAN), a Saturday statement by his spokesman, Mr Ike Abonyi, said.
Mohammed had accused Secondus of collecting N200 million from the Office of the National Security Adviser under Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).
But the letter from the lawyer said that Mohammed’s statement “has damaged the image of Secondus as he has been humiliated , castigated and vilified by many as a result of the falsehood published by the minister . ”
Secondus is asking for, aside from retraction, an apology and a N1.5 billion, failing which he will sue the minister.
He said legal proceedings will commence in 72 hours if the minister fails to carry out the demands in the letter.
