Popular musician, Olamide has reacted to criticisms from many Nigerians over the lyrics of his new song, “Logo Benz”.
Some Nigerians had taken to social media on Thursday to blast the musician, who featured on the song by his protege, Lil Kesh.
“If money no enter, I go do blood money,” was one of the lines in the song that was heavily criticised by social media commentators.
However, the musician has taken to Twitter to defend himself.
He said, “Logo Benz is for the 3rd party to have a glimpse into the current state of youths in our society. (Runs girls x runs boys) ‘I’m not sure if there’s anything like 2 much awareness, but pardon me if there is. It’s all over the news, it’s always been in movies, don’t box musicians.”
