Aiyedogbon, who said that the period of lockdown is not a time to indulge in social vices such as robbery, fraud, abuse of hard drugs and conflicts, spoke with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Saturday.
He said that youths should desist from keeping bad company during the lockdown, but rather seek to improve their skills and knowledge through online studies.
“This period is not a time to be depressed, lazy or idle, it is a time to re-strategise and plan ahead of time.
“God has given us time but we are its managers, the Bible says there is time for everything.
“Youths should be industrious, so at this time, I think a wise person should be involved in every form of positive learning.
“I see free online courses these days, youths should key into those opportunities and plan for a post COVID-19 life,” he said.
The cleric prayed for the nation, asking God to heal the land of the coronavirus pandemic.
