According to the Mirror, the Merseyside Club are unconcerned by Raheem Sterling’s alleged visit to a London nightclub last Monday night, just 24 hours after his claims of tiredness saw him left out of the England team against Estonia.
The player was spotted with international teammates Danny Welbeck, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jonjo Shelvey, according to the Sun.
He was also rumoured to be up on his chair dancing.
Liverpool are not concerned by the reports, with the player did report for training at Melwood as expected, and have declined to comment.
Indeed, less than a week later Sterling went on to play a decisive role in Liverpool’s 3-2 win at Queens Park Rangers.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has previously defended Sterling during his England controversy.
He said at the time: “This is a boy that felt a bit tired but he didn’t say he didn’t want to play. He’s a human being, not a machine.”
Following sustained criticism for not starting Sterling hit back on Twitter at the time, posting: “Excuse me for being human”.
