Sad news for Liverpool and its Colombian star, Luis Diaz as it is reported that in the early hours of today, his parents were kidnapped in their home country of Colombia.
Reports state that the incident happened in the early hours in Barrancas, La Guajira with the police actively working on the case to secure the safety of the family.
The Police according to reports have been able to secure the mother’s release but as at the moment have not been able to secure the safe release of his father.
Colombia media also adds that the police have not given up on the safe release of the player’s father as they are reported to be steadfast in the pursuit of Luis Diaz’s father’s release from the Kidnapper’s den.
The news could have some big impact on Liverpool’s premier league game today, which could mean Luis Diaz being absent from the clash versus Nottingham Forest at Anfield.
