The 14th edition of the annual love party held for children of the Little Saints Orphanage in the Lagos metropolis last Saturday.
The event was attended by over 140 children who were treated to a day of funfair, food and dance by businesswoman and entrepreneur, Bethia Idoko.
Bethia, host of the Love Fest, started the initiative on Valentine’s Day year 2004 in order to give hope and a sense of belonging to less privileged children in the community.
Sponsors this year included GTBank, Dominos Pizza and Giditraffic.
Bethia took to social media sharing site, Instagram to share photos of the event and thank her family, friends and corporate sponsors for opening their hearts and wallets to ensure the 14th edition of the Love Party was a huge success.
She told The Herald, “This year has been one of the best years because so many individuals and brands like GTBank, Dominos, came out to support the event in cash and with products and services. GTBank donated some money and gave us water. And celebrity photographer Dipo Sofowora provided professional services for no charge.
“I am really grateful to God and my family and friends for helping to continue to support this initiative of showing love to these children.”
