Lilian Afegbai Unleashes on Real Warri Pikin’s Extravagant Wedding

2 Min Read

Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai recently playfully called out her colleague, popular comedian Anita Asuoha, also known as Real Warri Pikin, over her upcoming second wedding to her husband, Ikechukwu Asuoha. The couple, who have been married for ten years and have two children together, are now planning their “dream wedding” to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.

Anita had previously revealed that her first wedding was not as elaborate as she had desired due to financial constraints at the time. However, now that they are in a better financial position, they are excited to renew their vows and have the wedding they’ve always dreamed of. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 10, marking a significant milestone for the couple.

Lilian Afegbai, taking a lighthearted approach, jokingly expressed her disapproval of Anita’s decision to have a second wedding and sell aso-ebi, traditional Nigerian attire, at a high price. Lilian and Anita have been friends since their undergraduate days, having attended the same university. Lilian playfully pointed out that while Anita is getting married to the same man again after a decade, she herself has never been married or had a serious boyfriend.

Adding to her jest, Lilian expressed her confusion about Anita burdening her, a single lady, with the expenses of purchasing aso-ebi for the wedding. Lilian, known for her candidness, stated that she meticulously plans her life events and portrays a certain lifestyle on social media. However, Anita’s unplanned wedding expenses caught her off guard, and she had to dig deep into her pockets to fulfill her obligations.
