President Buhari who was upheld the duly elected President by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) yesterday, has extended a hand of fellowship to Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party after his petition was dismissed.
The PEPT upheld Buhari’s election dismissing all petitions filed against him by the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and its Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
President Buhari reacted in a series of tweets posted on his verified Twitter handle, President Buhari urged the petitioners to join hands with him to move the country forward.

“I am hereby extending a hand of fellowship to everyone who felt aggrieved at the outcome of the election and went to court. It was well within your democratic right to go to Court. Now that the court has spoken, let us join hands to move Nigeria to the next level” President Buhari tweeted.
President Buhari also dedicated his victory to God and to all Nigerians, calling it “a well-deserved victory”
