Ali Baba’s comments came in response to a trending story about a man who forced his wife to quit her job because she earned more than him.
The comedian questioned the authenticity of the story and argued that men with financially driven self-worth are insecure.
“Who are these women falling for such lies? If you earn more than your man, let him quit his job. Nonsense!” Ali Baba posted on Instagram.
He emphasized that a person’s self-worth should not be tied to financial status and encouraged men to be driven to upgrade their financial status instead of feeling threatened.
