Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho may be headed out of the door at Leicester City, where he has failed to make much of an impression despite a £25 million move last summer.
The club is reportedly tired of his £115,000 (about N48 million) weekly wage and may start considering offers from other clubs.
Although Iheanacho has a £50 million buyback clause put in his contract by Manchester City, it is highly unlikely that the club wants him back.
Leicester City are said to be so frustrated that they are prepared to suffer a loss in offloading the player, who has only made just two Premier League starts, scoring just once in the EFL Cup.
The club is said to be disappointed that the 21-year-old has been unable to replicate the form that saw him score seven goals in nine starts for Man City last season.
He was a substitute in Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Fleetwood Town, when Leicester failed to record a shot on goal
