Leeds United boss Marcelo Biesla has confirmed that Eddie Nketiah will be rejoining his club Arsenal after the year-long loan term was terminated and the lad recalled back to the Emirates as new coach Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad.
“Yes we know that he is not allowed to continue with us. It’s a shame. It’s a pity for us. Of course Arsenal and him didn’t expect what we offered him,” Bielsa told Sky Sports via a translator.
Nketiah who has score 5 in 19 appearances for Leeds took to Twitter to express a heartfelt thank you message to the management and fans of the club.
Unfortunately my time @LUFC has come to an end. It’s been an amazing experience and a privilege to play for such an amazing club. I would like to say a big thank you to my teammates, the coaching staff and the manager for making my time here an enjoyable one. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/IgQNfkOWn5

Nketiah makes his way back to Arsenal to challenge for starting positions with Lacazatte and Aubameyang who are much more experienced than the youngster to think that he’ll bench any of them is a bit of a pipe dream but what he offers is dynamism and options for Arteta.
