Leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S20, big screen and quad camera spotted

2 Min Read

What was thought to be the Samsung Galaxy S11 but have now been confirmed as the Galaxy S20 is buzzing up ahead of its official release.

Samsung has done well to keep a lot under wraps when it comes to their next flagship but rumours abound here and there and leaks sneaks are popping up. It’s hard to keep the media completely in the dark.

An XDA Developers contributor has shown what seems to be a fully functional Samsung S20 Plus.

Apart from pictures the 5G symbol lends weight to previous suggestions that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 in the U. S and the Exynos 990 in most other parts of the world.

Based on these images, the rumoured large screen, the Note 10-like infinity o, and the large camera set-up are confirmed.

According to XDA Developers, the Galaxy S20 Plus’ domino-style camera block will house four cameras, with a new 1.8μm 12MP main sensor that will be accompanied by ultra-wide, telephoto and macro shooters.

Even with this impressive camera set-up, it is rumoured that the Korean tech giant’s camera wonder is coming in a step up to the S20, the S20 Ultra which will follow soon after the launch of the device under discuss.

Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy A71 ahead of the CES 2020 and these images share a lot of physical resemblance to that device but we doubt that both will spot same specs. It won’t make sense really.

While the prospects are exciting, we must stress that nothing has been announced neither did Samsung confirm if this is indeed the Galaxy S20.
