The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, today disclosed that 41 deaths had occurred out of 93 reported cases of Lassa Fever across 10 states of the federation.
He gave the names of the affected states as Bauchi, Nasarawa, Niger, Taraba, Kano, Rivers, Edo, Plateau, Gombe and Oyo.
Lassa Fever is caused by contact with rat secretions and excretions.
