Lagos state Ministry of Health (LSMOH) has confirmed the third case of Coronavirus in Nigeria. The case is totally unrelated to the index case.
The patient who arrived from UK on Friday March 13 has tested positive to the deadly virus.
The 30-year-old Nigerian female observed self-isolation after she began manifesting Coronavirus symptoms. She is currently receiving medical treatment in Mainland General Hospital.
Coronavirus which originated in Wuhan China in December 2019 has spread to over 30 countries with a rising death toll of over 7,000 people. Last week, World Health Organization (WHO) declared the virus a pandemic. Countries like America and those under the EU have shut their borders to protect their citizens.
