A Twitter user, @HenshawBlaze who said he was attacked by two men wielding machetes in Yaba, Lagos, has taken to the social media platform to narrate the experience.
Henshaw stated that the incident occurred 200 metres from a police checkpoint today.
He said that the robbers asked him how much he had on him and he told them N2,000.

I was attacked in yaba, early this morning about 200 meters from a police check point just after waec, yaba. By 2 men, the first guy grabbed my neck before I could respond, the other guy raised a machete to my head, asked me for money. I told I had just 2k cash, they searched me

After which the first guy, looked his partner in the face and said “fi le je ko ma lo” (leave him let him go). Just like that they kept it moving, didn’t even take the 2k. Barely 30minutes ago, I guess everything has happened to me in lagos.
I am fine tho. I guess
