A Lagos resident that was robbed at gunpoint inside his car has described the state as a jungle.
The victim, who identified himself as Babatunde, took to Twitter to lament his ordeal on Friday.
He said that the incident occurred close to the Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) on Thursday.
According to Babatunde, the robbers attempted to steal his car but were unsuccessful and stole his phone instead.
He urged other Lagosians to take precautions to avoid becoming victims.
He wrote, “Got robbed at Yabatech area yesterday, all guns pointing at me, attempted to steal my car but they couldn’t succeed cos they broke the key and the key sensor switched off everything, they took my phone while i escaped from the car.
“Stay safe out there, we live in a jungle now!”
