Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has assured voters that security officials are at every polling unit to ensure their safety.
Sanwo-Olu said this after casting his vote in his Polling Unit 006, Ward E3 in Lagos Island in Saturday’s Governorship and State House of Assembly election.
The governor urged voters to troop out en masse to exercise their franchise.
“I have just exercised my right to vote as a resident of Lagos State. It’s an important responsibility we all share in building the future of our beloved state and country. I urge all eligible voters to come out and make their voices heard.
