Controversial Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, has continued to attract knocks after a video of him issuing threats to some voters in the state went viral.

Addressing a gathering of supporters, MC Oluomo, who is an ally of President-elect Bola Tinubu, urged them to warn their Igbo neighbours not to bother going to the polling units on Saturday if they intended to vote for candidates other than the ruling party’s flag bearers.

The gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections hold on Saturday, March 18.

“It is not a fight. It is not wahala (a problem). What do we want to correct it? Our PVC. And we will stand there. Yoruba should get there first and should vote first.

“When we finish voting, we’ll be watching because we have begged you and you said you have heard. If you make a mistake, you will understand. Please tell them, we have begged them. If they don’t vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them that, Chukwudi’s mother, if you don’t for us, sit down at home. Do you understand? Sit down at home,” MC Oluomo said.

“To be clear, this is Mr. Musiliu Akinsanya, a.k.a. MC Oluomo, rumoured to be either a US citizen or at least a Green card holder, giving instructions to his henchmen to disenfranchise voters in Lagos in favour of the ruling party.

“KNOW THIS: You cannot force a governor on us that we don’t want, no matter how hard you try. Whatever you see in your futile attempts to disenfranchise Nigerians. you will take it like that.”

Tagging the United Nations, US Embassy, UK High Commission and European Union Mission in Nigeria noted to ignore MC Oluomo’s threats.

Journalist, Wilfred Mong said, “This is part of the rascality that really needs to stop! Dude is emboldened!”

@Bayzdad said, “He knows he has the backing of the powers that be. No one can touch him under this government.”

@ogkuku2 said, “Barely 48hrs ago, (Department of State Services) arrested Sharu Abubakar Tabula & Ismaili Iliyasu Mangu for deliberately inciting violence in parts of Kano State. I am confident they will arrest MC Oluomo who is carrying out similar threat in Lagos.”

@Preciou38243071 said, “This is enough reason to vote out APC in Lagos State. People in Lagos should see this election as a fight for their lives. You can’t live in ur father’s land and be subjugated like this.

“If it’s vawulence they bring. Bring ur own, double it, u have the number.”

Tagging the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, @kola2bosun said, “If no one will say anything on this, you should. The trust you have built wit the public is evaporating. But I guess everyone has to position themselves for appointments in the new administration so they cannot be seen to go against them.”
