Kylie Jenner admits she has known for her ‘whole life’ that her father Caitlyn was transgender. The 18-year-old explained during a knew interview with Wonderland magazine that she just wanted her dad, who was born Bruce and revealed her true identity last year, to be honest with her.
‘I mean, obviously I knew about it my whole life, but it was never admitted to and then it was all said and done,’ Kylie said. ‘I honestly just wanted to not be lied to. I just wanted honesty and no secrets.’ The reality star added: ‘I’m OK with everything, as long as everyone’s honest.’
Kylie spoke candidly during the interview for the publication’s Spring Fame issue, also sharing that fame and fortune has come with a price as she struggled with bullying while growing up.
The teen was just 10 when she appeared in the first season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and has grown up in front of the world. The star said: ‘Growing up, I’ve heard the worst things anyone could ever say about me and bullying was such a big part of my life, with the whole entire world judging me and stuff.
So I started to look towards people with, like, I think, bigger, more real issues than I have. ‘They inspire me because I was like, “I’m getting bullied all the time, but they’re just haters and [these people] deal with real-life issues.”‘
Kylie wasn’t clear about whether she was referring to bullying online or in school, but quit Sierra Canyon High School in 2012 to be educated at home.
Now living in her own Los Angeles home, Kylie is a mini mogul as she already has her own app, online game, fashion and beauty ranges.
