Nigerian author, Gimba Kakanda has derided NNPP presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s choice of Bishop Isaac Idahosa as running mate for the February 25, 2023 presidential election.
Recall that the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) announced the VP candidate in a tweet on Thursday.
“Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State,” the short tweet read.

In a Facebook post few hours later, Kakanda said Kwankwaso’s choice of Idahosa meant is “he’s not running for President’.
He wrote, “Kwankwaso’s choice of a running mate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, only means one thing. He’s not running for President.
“But, then, he had given us a hint of the direction in which he’s likely to head if his presidential dream tanks.
“What he needs is a political powerhouse like himself from the South, not a miracle-performing Pastor to pray their way to Aso Rock.”
