Only weeks after a UNILAG student graduated with a perfect 5.0 CGPA, another whiz kid has appeared in the news.
The score, which obviously will sit on the JAMB Hall of Fame, is the best so far in the year’s examination, just as the examination board is reported to be doing all in its capability to see that the result is delivered to the candidate as soon as possible.
The result obtained by Nigerian University Scholarships, a website that advertises academic opportunities, shows that the young man shattered a record of results for the examination body which it does not think anyone might be able to repeat in the next 10 years.
With an aggregate of 399 in four subjects, yet another academic bar has been raised.
Shamwifu, according to the website, scored 99 in Use of English, 100 in Physics, 100 in Biology and 100 in Chemistry with registration number 65184979HA and C40509045 as the exam code.
He wrote the exam at Air Max Computer Institute, St Theresa Catholic Church, Madala, Niger state and wants to study Medicine at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
