The emergence of Prince Abubakar Audu as the standard bearer of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been given hope to the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), in Kogi State to win the forthcoming governorship elections in the state,
According to the Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Bode Ogunmola, the November 21 election was already a done deal for the PDP, expressing optimism that it would defeat Audu at the poll.
Ogunmola, whose party, (the PDP), was yet to elect its standard bearer, recalled that the PDP had since 2003, defeated the Audu, at least four times, and noted that the November election won’t be an exception, adding that the PDP was already celebrating its victory.
Ogunmola described the choice of the ex-governor as the biggest blunder of all times and added that the election would be a walk over for the PDP, which had since been an acceptable choice of the Kogi people.
