Dogs always get bad sticks about their attitudes from humans. Humans love to hush dogs that cover their environment with embarrassing noises. If a dog makes a blunder, there are ready hands to hurl stones and bottles on the dog. “Bad dog!” we will yell. Although, what we don’t know as Nigerians is that Sai Bingo loves humans. Here are ten ways you can tell that this dog loves you.
- Licks your face frantically when you are wounded. After many people lost their lives in Kano, Abuja and Borno, the dog licked their face with saliva. That’s how dogs behave; they always want to heal the wounded with their tongue.
- Cries hysterically when they see an enemy. Bingo only barks corruption when it sees an enemy. It has never cried about any dangerous snakes like Tinubu and co.
- Jumps on you, possibly when it’s not needed. The dog likes to jump on you in joy after it’s not seen you in a while but be weary of the lonely teeth.
- Jumps up begging to be held high. Bingo jumps up and hopes the international dogs hold it high. It likes to be celebrated by the British bulldog and American Mastiffs. It doesn’t like playing local.
- Chews up the carpet. Ah, Bingo likes to chew carpets, especially the “Welcome carpet”. That’s love because guests are made to feel welcomed into the cagey paradise.
- If you throw a ball or stick, Bingo doesn’t chase. It walks gradually to get the ball. It looks at you askance and reminds you that the race is not for fastest but for the swift.
- Bingo likes to be in the bath with it’s own kind. If it’s not a look alike then it’s bad. It doesn’t want to be contaminated by other breeds of local dogs. It loves the land and feels only one breed should enjoy the land.
- Everywhere you go, bingo was sure to follow. Don’t give another dog that name. Bingo is greedy with the name. if you pass it unto another person, bingo is sure to attack.
- Makes a point. As it’s friend, the British bulldog called Bingo corrupt. He didn’t care, he only wanted his bones returned
- When things seems to be going out of hand, Bingo rolls on the floor and keeps looking for anyone to tell about it’s pain.
- When you ask Bingo “do you love me?” There is usually a tall silence. It may never reply.
- And finally … maybe Bingo doesn’t love you. At least, not in the way you think. There’s no need to anthropomorphise Bingo. Bingo love, I suspect, is deeper, truer and more mysterious than any Nigerian can understand.
