Yesterday, Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel, otherwise known by stage name, Kiss Daniel, was hit with a lawsuit by his former label, G-Worldwide who claimed that he was in breach of a 7-year contract he signed in 2013.
He was prohibited from using the name Kiss Daniel and from singing or profiting from any song performed while under contract with them.
Kiss Daniel and his legal team have responded to this legal thrust with their own parry stating that a court has already refused to grant an injunction against Daniel which would have seen him unable to use his stage name.
They also alleged that G-Worldwide tried to apply for the injunction in secret without due notice to their client (Kiss Daniel).
