Killer Husband Strolls Into Police Station With Wife’s Severed Head

2 Min Read

An Indian husband simply known as Satish walked into a police station holding his wife’s decapitated head in a nylon bag and confessing to her murder.

The man loped off his wife’s head and brought it out for revolted police officers to see before putting it back after they shouted at him.

He thought that his wife, Roopa was cheating on him.

The 35-year-old said:  “This is my wife, sir.

“I gave her all the love I could.”

The incident happened in the town of Ajjampura in southern India.

Satish then went on to explain what led to the murder, stating that he loved him wife but he believed her to be cheating on him and in a fit of anger, he cut off her head when he allegedly saw her with another man.

Satish was displeased that Roopa had chosen his rival, named Sunil, over him and he was perturbed by this as he claimed that the man was a manual worker with a criminal record.

Satish told cops that Roopa had even taken out a loan for 300,000 INR – about £3,170 – and given the money to her lover.

Criminal charges will be brought against Satish and Inspector Ramachandra Nayak disclosed that the husband had shown them where the rest of the wife’s body was.

“Generally, in the Ajjampura area, whoever commits murder surrenders to the police but for someone to walk in and place a head on the sub-inspector’s table was something new for us.” said Superintendent Annamalai
