The kidnapped APC Nassarawa Chairman, Philip Shekwo has been murdered.
He was reportedly found dead a few meters away from his home in Lafia.
Vanguard made it known that Governor Abdullahi Sule, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, the speaker, state House of Assembly, Abdullahi- Balarabe Ibrahim, the state commissioner of police, Bola Longe, government officials, party faithfuls and other sympathizers have gathered at the residence of the slain Chairman.
The Herald earlier reported that Shekwo was kidnapped on Saturday night at his residence located along Dunamis Church, Bukan Sidi in Lafia.
The commissioner of Police in the state, Bola Longe had confirmed the incident saying that gunmen came in large numbers, kidnapped APC chairman Shekwo around 11 pm at his home before whisking him away to an undisclosed destination.
