Super Eagles of Nigeria left the Khartoum stadium in Sudan in tears as they failed for the third time to maximize chances of qualifying for AFCON 2015.
Following Sudan’s shameful defeat over African champions Nigeria, despite Keshi’s bragadocious belief in the squad he shuffled blatantly, it now looms that a replacement for the Big Boss is a clarion call if there’s any hope of salvaging the National team.
Vincent Enyeam, who would have given much to stop the one goal that handed Sudan the extremely expensive three points wasn’t abashed to express his grief. “So sad, I want to apologize on behalf of the team to the entire country for the embarrassing loss today. We were bad today, but we will not stop fighting to redeem the image of Nigerian football. God bless Nigeria. God bless Nigeria football fans and supporters,” Gistreel claimed he said.
For the umpteenth time, Super Eagles will now hope for the failure of other teams in its group, to secure a ticket into the competition.
Football analysts claims that if they can flawlessly win their next three matches, one away against Congo and two others at home against Sudan and South Africa, then they can leap into AFCON next year January.
After much accolade attributed to his past victories, Keshi’s competence is now a question of recurring luck or just maybe parody pays no more.
