Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has released the list of players headed to the World Cup to battle against Argentina and other Group F countries.
- England controversial striker, Osaze Odemwingie,
- Joseph Yobo
- and injured Real Betis Spain midfielder, Nosa Igiebor in the 30-man provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The list consists four goalkeepers:

- Daniel Akpeyi.
