Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has called up Dolphins forward Emem Eduok to replace Stoke City winger Victor Moses in preparation for the double header against Sudan this month.
Pepsi star Victor Moses, a key player in Stock City’s forward where he plays on loan from Chelsea was earlier called up by the Big boss, but will not be available owing to an injury in his club.
Moses had a recurring thigh injury in Stock’s weekend game against Sunderland; he had a similar injury in their last time out on Monday against Newcastle and will not be fit to play for sometime.
Prior to confirming the extent of his Injury, Keshi showed concern on his well-being,
“I was naturally worried to see him (Moses) get injured (on Saturday).
He’s been in good form and I just hope that the injury is not that serious because we need him for those important games against
Sudan,” Keshi said.
The former Flying Eagles star who has been on Keshi’s radar will replace Moses as the squad converge in Abuja to commence training this week.
