Manchester City’s Nigerian footballer, Kelechi Iheanacho has earned his place as the highest paid Nigerian footballer pushing Chelsea midfielder, Mikel Obi to the second spot.
The Manchester City wonder kid became the highest paid Nigerian footballer in the English Premier League and in Europe following the signing of a new deal which earns him £85,000-a-week take home pay.
Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel takes the second place as he earns a total of £70,000-a-week take home pay.
The 19-year-old star’s new contract extension will last until 2021.
Speaking on the bumper deal, the young star noted that it is a dream come true adding that it would indeed go a long way in changing the lives of his family members.
