American singer, Kehlani is being sued for allegedly wrecking a rental Ferrari during a music video shoot.
According to The Blast, a Florida company says Kehlani rented a luxury sports car they owned through a third party company and it was returned with major damage.
In the suit, the company claims back in April, the Ferrari was “rented” to the singer by a “third party rental agency” for her “personal use only.”
The suit claims the 25-year-old “negligently, recklessly, carelessly operated the Ferrari as to collide with an animal or unknown object and thereby causing significant material damage” to the sports car.
The lawsuit alleges the company took a huge financial hit because of the car’s damage. The owner claims the car cost $24,426.12 to be repaired, and on top of that, “loss of use of the Ferrari from the date of loss on April 22, 2020, through the date the Ferrari was fully repaired.”
To make matters worse, the lawsuit claims the car’s value has been ‘diminished’ by a value of almost $90,000.
