Popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw has advised parents against exposing their children to social media.
In a tweet on Thursday, the award-winning actress said social media exposure was unsafe for children.
Henshaw noted that children should only have access to social media when they are old enough to recognise the inherent dangers of online interaction.
According to her, many sick individuals are just around the corner seeking access to vulnerable persons and children could easily fall victim to their antics.
She wrote,” I know it’s hard but resist the urge to put your children out there on social media.
“When they are old enough to know the dangers associated with it, then …..
“Many are roaming, watching, tracking, with evil intentions. May God protect our children in this new age.”
