Kanye West Urges American Rappers to Learn from Nigerian Artists

1 Min Read

American rapper, Kanye West, has advised his colleagues to take a cue from Nigerian afrobeats artists, as well as Jewish investors, Chinese, and Indian tech gurus. In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, West criticized American rappers, stating that they often lack understanding of the legal and business aspects of music.

West claimed that American rappers rely heavily on foreigners for assistance in managing their businesses, contracts, and setups. He challenged them to set up their own record labels and TV networks without the help of Jewish investors or other foreign experts.

West praised Nigerian artists, stating that they are more business-savvy and capable of managing their own affairs. He emphasized that until American rappers can match the level of expertise and business acumen displayed by Nigerians and other groups, his criticism stands.
